  • The closure of all facilities accessible to the public, with the exception of shops selling food and other essential goods.
  • The recommendation that everyone should stay at home as much as possible, in particular those who are ill or aged over 65, and that people leave home only to go to work, to see a doctor, to shop or to help someone else.
  • A ban on gatherings of more than five people in public spaces and the requirement to maintain a distance of at least two metres between people at smaller gatherings.
  • A ban on non-emergency operations and treatments at hospitals, clinics and medical and dental practices.
